Inclusion

Inclusion is our commitment to ensuring every pupil is valued, supported and able to succeed, regardless of their background, needs or circumstances. We hold high expectations for all children, including those who are socioeconomically disadvantaged, have special educational needs and disabilities, are known to children’s social care, or face other barriers to learning or wellbeing. Through early and accurate identification of needs, informed planning and regular review, we work to remove barriers and promote progress. We draw on specialist support where needed, use evidence-based strategies such as our pupil premium provision, and work closely with pupils, families and professionals so that every child’s voice, strengths and aspirations shape the support they receive.
