Year 13 - Letter regarding A level assessment process for this summer

Please find a copy of the letter, which you should have already received, here.

Covid Home Testing

You have hopefully all received the letter relating to student home testing. The letter can be viewed here: letter. Students are expected to test twice a week and, once they have their result, follow the reporting process (the school link and the link to the NHS website).

May update - Students have continued to be issued with new packs of tests and it is imperative that we all continue testing twice a week. A letter has been sent home by Mr Cowling this week, his most recent letter can be viewed here.

Attendance Reminders

A reminder that all Year 12 students should be in school every day for an 08:30 start, even if they don't have lessons first thing in the morning. Students will be permitted to leave early in the afternoon if they don't have timetabled lessons, but this is a privilege that can be removed. The end of the normal school day is at 14:50. If Year 13 students do not have anything on their timetable period 1 they may come in for their first timetabled lesson of the day. However, if they have a lesson period 1 they must come in for form time at 8.30 and, if they are coming in later, they MUST arrive at least 20 minutes before their lesson. If they are persistently arriving late for their first lesson this privilege may be removed.

If your son or daughter is unable to attend school, for any reason, it is vitally important (particularly in the current situation) that you inform Mrs Spencer as to why they aren't able to attend. Please call the main school number: 01895 237350 and choose option 4 (sixth form). If Mrs Spencer isn't at her desk you will be able to leave a message, please leave a contact number, just in case she needs any clarification (e.g. if Covid related absence).
